Responsible for new product R&D, covering mechanical design, calculation, verification and testing, product optimization and customer application support.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Possess the ability to analyze Voice of the Customer (VOC) and Customer Requirements Specification (CRS), and translate them into quantifiable engineering technical parameters..
  • Optimize design schemes and refine product structures based on existing product foundations.
  • Conduct design calculations for product torque, response time and other key indicators, and perform mechanical analysis.
  • Build 3D models, conduct simulation analysis via CAE software, and apply simulation results to product design optimization.
  • Produce 3D/2D engineering drawings and DFM documents. Capable of conducting risk assessment using tools such as P-Diagram, Risk Matrix and DFMEA, and participating in design reviews.
  • Complete prototype fixture/tool design, draft product test and verification plans, and apply test results to iterative product improvement.
  • Fully consider cost control, quality standards and production feasibility throughout the product design process.
    In the process of designing products, should have project management awareness, such as cost, quality,time and progress.
  • Apply DFSS tools and methodologies to the full lifecycle of product development.

What We're Looking For

  • Master's degree in mechanical engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience and practice in mechanical design, experience in the fields of transmission such as brakes, clutches, couplings, and reducers or torque limiters are preferred.
  • Familiar with GD&T knowledge and experience in tolerance analysis and allocation
  • Experience in materials or friction material and heat treatment are preferred
  • Proficient in using AutoCAD, UG,ProE, Ansys and other similar software, experience of ERP and PLM will be preferred  
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Rigorous logical thinking, judgment ability
  • Have clear and adequate expression capability
  • Good English writing, listening and speaking skills
