As our Senior Designer, you’ll play a key role in supporting electronics hardware product lifecycle activities by ensuring accurate PLM data management, effective component obsolescence tracking, and regulatory compliance coordination.
You will help maintain product continuity, improve lifecycle management efficiency, and support compliance readiness across global engineering operations. Through your work, teams across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and compliance will benefit from accurate data, structured processes, and improved operational efficiency.
You’ll collaborate with global engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and compliance teams while taking ownership of lifecycle management processes, PLM data maintenance, and obsolescence execution activities, helping us move toward a more efficient and sustainable future.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Execute and maintain component and product obsolescence management activities for electronics hardware products.
- Support PLM lifecycle activities including BOM maintenance, plant extensions, product structure updates, and lifecycle status management.
- Collaborate with compliance teams on FMD, PFAS, and environmental/material compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional global stakeholders to support lifecycle execution, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives to simplify lifecycle and PLM workflows.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or related technical discipline.
- 1 to 7 years of relevant experience in electronics hardware lifecycle management, PLM, or engineering support roles.
- Hands-on experience with Electronic BOMs, component lifecycle status management, and engineering change processes.
- Familiarity with PLM tools such as Teamcenter, SAP PLM, or equivalent systems.
- Exposure to component engineering or obsolescence management will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of electronics hardware, electronic components, and product structures.
- Comfortable collaborating with global cross-functional teams.
- Good documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Positive, open-minded, and persistent attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
