As Senior Director, Portfolio Management, you will shape the direction of the global sensing portfolio at Danfoss. You will ensure we invest in the right products, technologies, and market opportunities to support growth and create lasting value for customers.
In this role, you will connect strategy, market insights, and execution—turning business ambitions into a clear and actionable portfolio roadmap. Your work will help ensure our sensing solutions remain relevant, competitive, and ready for the future.
You will join the Sensing Solutions leadership team and work closely with colleagues across Danfoss to drive alignment between product management, engineering, commercial teams, and operations. Together, you will help accelerate innovation and support customers on their sustainability and decarbonization journey.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the global portfolio management strategy for Sensing Solutions, ensuring strong alignment between business strategy, market opportunities, and product investments.
- Translate growth ambitions into a clear portfolio roadmap, balancing innovation, lifecycle management, and long-term technology development.
- Prioritize key portfolio initiatives and drive strong execution through effective cross-functional collaboration and project leadership.
- Support sales and customers with strong technical expertise, promoting the value of our solutions while helping solve customer challenges.
- Partner closely with R&D, Product Management, Sales, and Operations to ensure the right products are developed, prioritized, and successfully brought to market.
- Drive portfolio performance and governance, ensuring transparency, clear prioritization, and effective decision-making across programs and investments.
- Identify new growth opportunities through market insights, customer needs, and competitive analysis, including support for inorganic growth initiatives such as M&A.
What We're Looking For
- You bring a Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, combined with 10+ years of experience in product management, portfolio management, strategy, or similar roles in an industrial or technology-driven environment.
- You have strong experience managing complex product portfolios and translating business strategy into clear roadmaps and investment priorities.
- You are comfortable working at the intersection of technology, markets, and commercial strategy, collaborating closely with engineering, sales, and leadership teams.
- You have a strong analytical mindset and experience using market insights, financial data, and customer feedback to guide portfolio decisions.
- You are a collaborative and purpose-driven leader who builds strong relationships and understands that success comes from enabling teams across Danfoss to deliver results together.
