This role drives global sales development for Air-Conditioning and Commercial Refrigeration Controls, ensuring profitable growth and a strong commercial pipeline across regions and segments.
You define and execute the global sales development strategy, ensuring strong go-to-market performance, pricing discipline, and commercial execution across the organization. The role connects Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and regional organizations, ensuring alignment across the full value chain from strategy to execution in a global matrix environment.
The position also includes leadership of a global team focused on sales development, pricing, and launch excellence, with responsibility for capability building, commercial performance, and execution across multiple stages of growth and product lifecycle.
We are open to candidates based at any Danfoss location across Europe. The specific location, as well as the working setup (local, hybrid, or relocation), will be considered on a case-by-case basis based on the candidate profile and business needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Define and drive global sales development strategy aligned with business priorities and growth targets
- Build and maintain a strong, qualified, and scalable commercial pipeline across regions and customer segments
- Identify and prioritize global growth initiatives, ensuring clear decisions based on strategic value and profitability
- Conduct portfolio reviews and actively shape product and commercial focus based on market attractiveness and performance
- Lead end-to-end product launch execution and ensure go-to-market readiness across Sales, Marketing, and Product
- Develop and execute pricing strategy aligned with product positioning, market dynamics, and competitiveness
- Drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Marketing, Product, Platform, Finance, R&D, and Production interfaces
What We're Looking For
- Strong sales leadership experience with proven ability to drive commercial growth in competitive global environments
- Deep understanding of market dynamics and industry structures, translating external signals into actionable sales strategy
- Strong understanding of the full value chain, including how Sales connects with Product, Production, Supply, and Go-to-Market execution
- Proven capability in portfolio management, including ability to challenge, prioritize, and make clear decisions
- Strong commercial judgment in evaluating pipeline quality, growth opportunities, and strategic investments
- Experience operating in large, complex matrix organizations with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Strong pricing expertise with ability to build and execute value-based pricing strategies linked to market positioning
