The Impact You'll Make

As our Senior Engineer – Root Cause Analysis, you will drive product quality and reliability by analyzing and resolving issues in power electronics and AC drive systems.

You will enhance product robustness, reduce field failures, and improve overall quality, directly impacting customer satisfaction and performance.
 
You will collaborate with global engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams, owning root cause analysis and corrective actions, helping build a more efficient and quality-driven future.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • In depth analysis of AC Drives and power electronics components / systems to identity right root-cause towards Design, Component, Process, System and Field
  • Lead redesigning circuits and components as a part of robustness enhancement
  • Detailed involvement in Systemic Root Causes process for product quality issues reported from field and production of AC drives
  • Drive implementation of corrective and preventive actions in terms of Product, Process, Field
  • Initiate continuous improvements based on feedback from internal stakeholders and enhance problem solving skills
  • Act as technical lead in the field of Power Electronics and able to guide team towards design and quality improvement in the field of power electronics

What We're Looking For

 

  • 5+ years of experience in the field of Power Electronics -design, testing and analysis.
  • A Master’s/ bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/Electronics Engineering/Power Electronics
  • In-depth knowledge about Power components, electrical & electronics components, and circuits
  • Detailed knowledge in Power Quality analysis & impacts, EMI/EMC, etc
  • Extended experience in AC Drives, Magnetics and Motor control
  • In depth knowledge in Quality tools & problem solving
  • In-depth knowledge about Power components, electrical & electronics components, and circuits
  • Hands own experience in MATLAB and similar design and simulation tools in power electronics
  • Good at analyzing data, with experience in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Works well with others and respects different perspectives
  • Demonstrates a global mindset with clear, thoughtful, and adaptable communication skills
    .Six Sigma Green Belt / PMP will be an added advantage.
