Danfoss Turbocor Global Headquarters in Tallahassee, Florida is expanding. We are looking for a results-driven Senior Industrial Project Manager to lead and deliver complex manufacturing projects from concept to completion. In this role, you will drive the deployment of modern manufacturing technologies, automation systems, and process optimization initiatives. You will work cross-functionally to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. What You’ll Be Doing
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, production, procurement, and quality.
- Track progress, manage scope, and adjust plans to meet objectives.
- Facilitate meetings, presentations, and progress reporting.
Budget & Cost Management
- Prepare and manage project budgets.
- Monitor expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure financial targets are met without compromising quality or safety.
Process Optimization
- Analyze manufacturing workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
- Apply lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
- Partner with operations to boost productivity and reduce waste.
Risk & Compliance Management
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Conduct audits and inspections to maintain standards.
Stakeholder Communication
- Establish clear communication schedules and formats.
- Align messaging with project goals and deliverables.
- Document and publish updates for transparency.
- Escalate changes to scope, timelines, or budgets as needed.
Position is on-site in Tallahassee, Florida but it will include up to 30% travel depending on the project phase.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and quality systems.
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, MS Planner, Primavera, or equivalent).
- Experience with Project Milestone/Tollgate processes.
Preferred:
- Experience with Industry 4.0, SCADA, MES, IoT, or smart factory principles.
- Background in global projects with international travel.
- Experience in multinational manufacturing environments.
- New product introduction experience.
- Basic Power BI and CAD skills.
- PMP certification.
