The Impact You'll Make

Danfoss is looking for a Senior Business Excellence Manager who can continuously drive improvement initiatives across our Drives EMEA commercial services and sales support organization by implementing best practices, process optimization, and capability building. This role ensures alignment with strategic goals, fosters a culture of excellence, and supports operational efficiency and innovation.

 

In this role you will lead an international team of Business Excellence Consultants and work closely with colleagues in commercial support, service delivery and sales as well as the segment functions to ensure that our customers get the best experience. The job involves travel activity of approx. 10-15 travel days per year.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our new Senior Business Excellence Manager for EMEA, you will ensure operational efficiency and process excellence, supporting the organization’s goal of delivering excellent customer experience and optimized sales operations. Furthermore, your areas of responsibility will be:

 

  • Analyze end-to-end commercial and sales support processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or pain points
  • Streamline administrative and support activities for our operational teams, such as quote generation, order handling, and CRM data management etc.
  • Drive projects or initiatives and ensure daily support for local super users as well as running run Communities of Practice within EMEA/globally
  • Deliver training and coaching programs to upskill teams in best practices, tools, and systems
  • Foster a culture of accountability, agility, and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with Customer Services, Sales, Service, Marketing, IT, and other stakeholders to align improvement efforts
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, customer SLAs, and industry standards
  • Manage business setup and support improvement activities for dedicated tools and systems (e.g. CTI call flows)
  • Support Managers in compliance matters within commercial support

What We're Looking For

 

To be considered for this position, you must have 5+ years of experience with continuous improvement, project management or customer service from a Business Excellence or Business Support function from an international organization. Solid leadership experience is a must. Furthermore, you need:

  • Proven experience of driving operational process improvements to enhance efficiency in commercial and sales support operations
  • Strong knowledge of pre-sales, order handling and complaints processes, preferably within our industry
  • Strong knowledge of customer service and sales tools and systems
  • Proficient in problem solving, driving cross-functional initiatives and change management
  • In-depth understanding of customer service and sales support workflows
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • A customer-focused mindset with strong business acumen
