Danfoss Power Solutions is seeking an innovative and results-driven Senior Manufacturing Cost Reduction Specialist to join our team as a "Navigator." In this pivotal role, you will lead high-visibility cost optimization projects across our factories in the Americas (primarily the USA and Mexico). You will be the catalyst for change, driving strong margin improvements by revolutionizing our approach to the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for all indirect costs, including MRO, Logistics, Packaging, and Energy.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Spearhead Transformation: Lead complex, cross-functional projects to identify, scope, and implement major cost optimization opportunities.
  • Champion Change: Secure buy-in from key stakeholders by leveraging data-driven analysis, building powerful project teams, and presenting compelling business cases.
  • Drive for Results: Own project success from concept to completion. You will drive performance, develop tactical implementation plans, and ensure timely execution to exceed ambitious targets.
  • Elevate Performance: Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, promoting a culture of sustainable change with a relentless focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Be a Global Connector: As part of a global team of experts spanning 61 factories, you will actively identify, share, and implement best practices and Danfoss standards worldwide.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven Expertise: A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, and/or Continuous Improvement within a performance-driven manufacturing or consulting environment.
  • Impactful Leadership: A strong track record of leading successful change management projects that have delivered tangible cost reductions. You are an inspirational leader who can build and motivate winning teams.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: A deep-rooted passion for improvement, backed by practical experience with Lean methodologies.
  • Analytical Acumen: A sharp, analytical mind and a structured approach to making confident, fact-based decisions.
  • Exceptional Collaboration Skills: You are an outstanding communicator and consensus-builder with high cultural intelligence, who thrives on working with diverse, global teams.
  • Project & Change Management Mastery: You possess strong skills to navigate complex projects and guide the organization through change.
  • Language: Fluency in both written and spoken English.

What You'll Get from Us

  1. We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
  2. You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
  3. We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected, and valued for who they are.
  4. You’ll receive benefits like an annual bonus, paid vacation, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re pretty great.
