Are you our new Sr. Manager of Operations, the “wizard” who can shine a light on important Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) topics and ensure engagement, progress, and implementation of manufacturing excellence within end-to-end operations of motors production and plant maintenance?
As our Sr. Manager, Operations – Motors & Maintenance, you’ll lead a team of around 115 employees, including 15 salaried staff, to deliver on SQDC while driving lean transformation and operational excellence. With your impact! You’ll create and lead a highly performing and engaged team that meets ambitious growth targets and exceeds customer expectations.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Take full responsibility for daily operations of hydraulic motor manufacturing and plant maintenance.
- Drive SQDC performance and implement tactical and operational goals derived from the Danfoss Power Solutions’ strategy.
- Lead lean transformation and operational excellence projects, ensuring sustainable improvements.
- Perform project management on improvement projects owned and driven by your technical process and production team.
- Manage cost accountability across variable costs, fixed production costs, and CAPEX to support profitable growth.
- Ensure compliance with IATF, ISO 9001, supported by the Danfoss Business System (DBS) standards.
- Engage the workforce while embodying the Danfoss purpose and behaviors while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to navigate in a global, matrixed environment, supporting all levels of stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Relevant education or degree in manufacturing or engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in people, team, and process development.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, including demand planning, forecasting, and efficiency.
- Expertise in lean transformation and change management, with strong operational excellence mindset.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, able to communicate effectively across cultures.
- Fluent in Danish and English; German is an advantage.
You use your excellent commercial and business acumen to identify individual tasks in the bigger picture with your holistic view. Having profound interpersonal and communication skills is a must, as well as proven stakeholder and change management skills.
