We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Senior Process Technology Project Manager to join Danfoss Climate Solutions in Sofia, Bulgaria.

In this role, you will lead the development of new production equipment and process technologies, working closely with global teams and suppliers. You will support the industrialization of products within the heating and cooling domain, including heat pumps and building climate systems, ensuring that production processes are robust, efficient, and scalable.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and implement production concepts and processes for new manufacturing lines and equipment.
  • Define equipment specifications and manage supplier selection for production machinery.
  • Design and optimize production line layouts, including supply flow and resource planning.
  • Integrate production systems such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems, and shop floor solutions.
  • Ensure process documentation and quality standards (PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SOPs) are maintained and applied.
  • Drive production ramp-up, supporting reaching goals for yield and OEE, collaborating with global teams

What We're Looking For

  • University background in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in similar roles within international, mid-sized structured environments, preferably in manufacturing, industrialization, or production engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with implementation or automation of production equipment and manufacturing lines.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as automated high-volume assembly, laser processing, soldering of electronics, gluing, pressure testing, and functional testing.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing and data tools (SAP, SQL databases, Power BI), Design for Manufacturing (DfM), and quality standards such as IATF 16949; Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English and Bulgarian, both written and spoken.
