Danfoss is currently hiring for a Senior Quality Engineer at our Shawnee, OK facility. 

What You’ll Be Doing

Collaborate with various teams to develop and implement quality control procedures, monitor production processes, and identify areas for improvement; conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations; act as supervisor/ambassador for young Quality Engineers helping them to apply standard quality methods.  Duties: customer claim handling and customer communication; supervisor for other plant Quality Engineers in terms of customer claim handling; cross function team management in regard to problem solving internal and external; develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that products and processes meet quality standards and requirements; conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations; analyze data and identify areas for improvement in product design, production processes, and quality control procedures; work with suppliers to ensure that their products and processes meet our quality standards and requirements; and coaching the employees on various topics related to internal processes, inspections, and problem-solving.

What We're Looking For

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Technology
  • 5 years experience as a Quality Engineer in Hydraulics environments
  • 5 years experience with quality control procedures and industry standards (i.e., ISO 9001, IATF)
  • 5 years experience with statistical analysis and process improvement methodologies, 8D root cause
  • 5 years experience with S/D/P-FMEA, Control Plans, Capability Studies, SAP and MSA
  • Fluency in written/spoken Spanish
