As a Senior Quality Engineer specializing in Change Management, you will play a pivotal role in elevating product quality and ensuring every design change is delivered with excellence. Your work will directly impact how new and improved products move from concept to launch—strengthening reliability, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.
You’ll partner closely with R&D, Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams to embed quality into every decision. By championing strong risk management and verification practices, you’ll help protect our customers and enhance the integrity of our product portfolio.

This is an in-office role based at our Turbocor Global Headquarters in Tallahassee, FL
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead quality engineering efforts for design changes and sustaining engineering projects to ensure smooth, compliant progress from concept through launch.
- Embed robust risk management, verification, and validation practices into design processes to strengthen product performance and reliability.
- Guide teams through quality-driven decision-making by analyzing data, identifying hazards, completing DFMEAs, and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with Operations to ensure an effective transfer of design changes into manufacturing, supporting PPAP builds and process control readiness.
- Monitor field trial insights and post-market data to drive lessons learned, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Experience applying quality engineering principles in product development or design change environments.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and core quality tools (DFMEA, statistical analysis, failure analysis, 8D, etc.).
- Ability to build cross-functional alignment and influence teams in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights.
- Proficiency with standard digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, QMS platforms).
Preffered
- 5+ years of experience as a team member for new product development or design changes

ISO9001 or IATF16949 Internal Auditing certification

ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Auditor, or Manager

Lean Six Sigma Certification

Experience with risk management frameworks and tools

Familiarity with mechatronic systems
