The Impact You'll Make
As our new Senior Sales Driver - India & Middle East, you will be the commercial owner for Turbocor growth across India and the Middle East. You will lead the regional sales strategy, build trusted customer relationships, and make sure Danfoss Turbocor is positioned as the preferred oil-free compressor solution for high-growth applications such as data centers, chillers, heat pumps, and applied HVAC systems.
The impact of this role is very visible: stronger customer intimacy, clearer regional market intelligence, better forecasting, disciplined opportunity management, and profitable growth in one of the most important emerging regions for Turbocor.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and drive the regional sales strategy for India and the Middle East, aligned with Turbocor global growth priorities and annual business goals.
- Act as the first Turbocor representative and escalation point for key OEMs, consultants, contractors, TASPs, and strategic partners in the region.
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities through structured customer engagement, account planning, and clear win plans.
- Build strong market intelligence on customers, competitors, applications, pricing, and regional trends, then translate those insights into action with global Product Management, Applications, Operations, and Sales teams.
- Lead regional forecasting and demand planning input through SIOP, including demand shifts, risks, shortfalls, and customer priorities.
What We're Looking For
- Strong sales, business development, or commercial leadership experience in HVAC, chillers, applied systems, industrial equipment, data centers, or a closely related technical industry.
- Enough technical understanding to confidently discuss compressor value propositions, chiller or applied system applications, customer needs, and competitive differentiation.
- Proven ability to work independently in a matrixed, multinational organization while creating alignment across sales, product, applications, service, and operations teams.
- A high-ownership mindset: self-driven, proactive, accountable, comfortable taking control of a region, and willing to run toward problems rather than hand them off.
- Strong customer-facing communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills in English, with the maturity to engage senior leaders internally and externally.
