Req ID:  48344
Job Location (Short):  Ville-La-Grand, FRA
Employment Type:  Full Time
Segment:  Danfoss Power Solutions Segment
Job Category:  R&D, Technology and Engineering
Work Location Type:  On-site

The Impact You'll Make

You will design and deliver liquid cooling system solutions that help customers meet demanding thermal and performance challenges. Your work will directly influence system efficiency, reliability, and readiness for production in real-world applications.

Working on-site in Annemasse, France, you will be close to labs, manufacturing, and cross‑functional teams. This hands-on environment allows you to turn concepts into fully validated, industrialized systems and see your designs come to life.

Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, you will act as a system-level technical reference, shaping how cooling solutions are engineered from early customer discussions through production ramp-up.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Translate customer requirements into engineered liquid cooling system architectures, supporting design finalization, validation, and deployment.
  • Lead the detailed design, integration, and optimization of system solutions to balance performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost.
  • Define and drive verification and validation activities, including prototype builds, testing campaigns, and structured problem solving.
  • Collaborate closely on-site with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams in Annemasse to ensure smooth industrialization and production readiness.
  • Act as a technical lead within cross-functional teams, contributing to continuous improvement, cost reduction, and engineering best practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in system-level mechanical, thermal, or fluid engineering, ideally within cooling or thermal management solutions.
  • Proven ability to lead system design from concept to production, including specifications, documentation, and validation.
  • Hands-on experience with testing, validation, and root-cause analysis in an industrial environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively on-site with cross-functional and manufacturing teams.
  • Professional working proficiency in English; French is a strong advantage for daily collaboration in Annemasse.

What You'll Get from Us

You’ll join Danfoss in Annemasse, France, where engineering, manufacturing, and collaboration come together. We offer a workplace where hands-on system engineering is valued and where your technical decisions have visible impact.

You can expect opportunities to grow your system-level expertise, learn from experienced colleagues, and contribute to technologies that support more energy-efficient and sustainable solutions. We foster an inclusive, respectful culture that encourages learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
