As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will shape how advanced HVAC and compressor technologies come together to perform reliably in real-world environments. Your work will directly influence the performance, safety, and efficiency of complex systems used by customers around the world.
You will play a critical role in connecting disciplines—software, electronics, and mechanical systems—ensuring that every component works seamlessly as part of a complete solution. From early technology development through product launch and lifecycle support, your contributions will help bring innovative, high-performance products to market.

This position is located at our Turbocor Global Headquarters in Tallahassee, Florida.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and define system architectures to ensure seamless integration across mechanical, electrical, and software components
- Translate customer and product needs into clear system requirements, ensuring alignment across engineering teams
- Lead validation and verification activities to confirm system performance, reliability, and compliance
- Drive risk analysis and system FMEA processes to identify issues early and improve product quality
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful system integration and product delivery
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or post graduate degree of Science in Engineering
- Minimum 3+ years engineering experience in HVAC/chillers/compressor, systems engineering, or mechatronic design.
- Must be detail oriented and self-motivated
- Relocation to Tallahassee, FL is required
Preferred qualifications
- HVAC industry experience preferable centrifugal compressor and chiller design and operation
- Experience using System FMEA to drive risk-based design validation and testing
- Turbo machinery experience
