What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage preparation and submission of sales and use taxgross receipts tax, and property tax reports, ensuring accuracy and timely compliance.
  • Partner with internal teams and external consultants to handle state audits, annual reports, registrations, and franchise taxes.
  • Maintain precise monthly accruals and account reconciliations to support financial integrity.
  • Contribute to state apportionment workpapers and unclaimed property reporting, adding value through attention to detail and problem-solving.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, embrace new tools, and share knowledge across the team.

 

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5 years sales tax experience.
  • A degree in accounting or finance.
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team.
  • Resourcefulness and adaptability; self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc) required; experience with Thompson Reuters, One Source, HFM, SOVOS, and SAP preferred, but not required.
