Req ID:  48515
Job Location (Short):  Bangalore, IND
Employment Type:  Full Time
Segment:  Danfoss Climate Solutions Segment
Job Category:  Quality and Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)
Work Location Type:  On-site

The Impact You'll Make

As our Service Executive, you'll play a key role in uncovering the story behind every returned compressor — turning field failures into insights that drive better products and stronger customer trust.

Your impact? Every teardown and root cause analysis you conduct means fewer repeat failures in the field, faster resolutions for customers, and smarter decisions for the teams that design and support our compressors. Your findings shape how we build and service, not just today, but going forward.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Disassemble compressors, assess internal component conditions, and identify wear, damage, contamination, and lubrication issues with a keen eye for detail.
  • Perform root cause analysis using 5-Why and Fishbone methodologies, continuously refining analytical techniques to uncover deeper insights.
  • Prepare comprehensive teardown reports with photos, measurements, and conclusions, while classifying failure modes and maintaining an up-to-date teardown database.
  • Provide technical feedback that drives product and process improvements, and support field service teams and customer discussions to broaden cross-functional knowledge.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain tools and teardown bench to the highest standards, fostering a culture of discipline and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Builds on a strong technical foundation with a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Refrigeration Engineering, and a curiosity to keep deepening that expertise.
  • Brings 3–5 years of real-world experience in compressor service, HVACR field service, or product quality, with exposure to Semi-Hermetic compressors seen as a valuable head start.
  • Carries a solid grasp of refrigeration principles and compressor mechanics, with a drive to stay current as technology and systems evolve.
  • Is hands-on and precise with measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and dial gauges, and committed to continuous improvement in accuracy and technique.
  • Able to read engineering drawings and produce technical reports, with an openness to sharpening both written and visual communication as the role demands.

What You'll Get from Us

  1. We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
  2. You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.

  4. You’ll receive benefits like 13th salary, annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re pretty great.
