As a Shipping Coordinator at Danfoss, you'll be at the heart of our plant's operations, ensuring our products reach customers on time, every time. Your work will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the success of our global supply chain.

 

You will join a collaborative team where you’ll have full ownership of outbound shipments. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact, drive improvements, and help shape a more efficient and sustainable logistics future for our business.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • You will take the lead in preparing all necessary shipping documentation, including waybills and bills of lading, to ensure smooth customs clearance and timely invoicing.
  • You will be the main point of contact for our carriers, scheduling shipments, resolving any issues, and using our Transportation Management System (TMS) to optimize freight costs.
  • You will collaborate closely with our Customer Service and Supply Chain teams, providing expert guidance on domestic shipments and developing your knowledge of export processes.
  • You will manage customer logistics portals and maintain organized records for proof of delivery and audit compliance, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • You will play a key role in problem-solving, from investigating freight claims to coordinating with material handlers and implementing special decisions for expedited shipments.

What We're Looking For

 

  • A degree in a related field and/or at least 1+ years of experience in a Logistics or Transportation role.
  • Experience with distribution and shipping operations, including knowledge of preparing shipping documentation and handling customs forms.
  • Proficiency with an ERP system (SAP is a plus), Microsoft Office, and various carrier or customer websites.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
