As our Sourcing Project Manager, you'll turn ideas into impactful sourcing strategies, leading sourcing and new development projects for hydraulic steering motors and gears, from business case to implementation, to optimize cost, quality, and performance.
Your impact? You’ll deliver measurable savings, secure reliable supplier partnerships, and drive technical improvements in casting and machining processes. Success means aligning stakeholders, managing complex projects, and ensuring timely execution—benefiting our customers, our business, and our sustainability goals.
You’ll collaborate with Quality, Production, Engineering, and Supplier teams, taking ownership of project planning, stakeholder engagement, and execution, helping us move toward a more efficient and innovative future.
You will be a part of a European team with 5 project managers and 3 Strategical buyers on to located in Bologna Italy and Norborg Denmark, the Workplace will be related to the plant in Denmark so expectation to be at working at the plant min 3 days a week.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead sourcing projects from idea to implementation, including business case development and stakeholder alignment.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, tracking progress and ensuring timely delivery.
- Collaborate with Quality, Production, Engineering, and Suppliers to define requirements and secure engagement.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives through optimized sourcing strategies for castings and machined components.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to communicate project status and outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of project management experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Technical understanding of castings, machining, or similar processes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to challenge the status quo constructively.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and ERP systems; comfortable with digital tools.
- A positive, proactive mindset, someone who motivates others and thrives in a busy, dynamic environment.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus.
