The Impact You'll Make

As our Quality Engineer, you will be the champion for excellence at our Mountain Home plant. You will play a vital role in shaping a zero-defect culture, ensuring every product that leaves our facility meets the highest standards of quality and performance. Your work directly impacts customer trust and Danfoss's reputation as a leader in the industry.

This is a role with broad influence, where you’ll collaborate across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering. You won't just be in the quality department; you'll be a key partner across the entire operation, driving improvements that make our processes smarter, safer, and more efficient.

You will have the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives, mentor a dedicated team, and see your efforts translate into measurable results. If you are passionate about making a tangible impact and solving complex challenges, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • You will champion our Quality Management System (QMS), leading audits and driving compliance with ISO 9001 and other industry standards to ensure operational excellence.
  • You will lead problem-solving initiatives using methodologies like 8D and A3 to investigate quality issues, reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.
  • You will act as a key quality partner to our suppliers and customers, managing supplier performance and resolving any quality-related inquiries to strengthen our partnerships.
  • You will ensure quality is designed into our products and processes by developing and maintaining tools like Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEAs) and control plans.
  • You will help guide our team of operations technicians, providing mentorship and building the team’s capabilities to support our business goals.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a quality engineering role or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience applying core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, PFMEA, Control Plans, Statistical Analysis). Certifications like a Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or CQE are a strong plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and drive change across different teams and departments.
  • Experience with QMS standards like ISO 9001 and proficiency with tools like Minitab and Microsoft Office.

If you are ready to take on a role with significant impact and help us build a world-class quality organization, we encourage you to apply.

What You'll Get from Us

  • We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
  • You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
  • We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected, and valued for who they are.
  • You’ll receive benefits like 13th salary, annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re pretty great.
