The Impact You'll Make
As a Senior Technical (HVAC) Services Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our OEM partners, contractors, and internal teams as they bring high‑efficiency Turbocor compressor technology to life. You will serve as a trusted expert—helping customers resolve complex technical challenges and ensuring our products operate at peak performance in the field.
Your work will shape how our customers experience Danfoss. By diagnosing issues, delivering hands‑on support, and providing actionable insights, you’ll strengthen confidence in our technology and help our partners keep critical HVAC systems running efficiently.
You will also contribute directly to improving our products and customer experience by sharing field insights, developing technical documentation, and delivering training that empowers teams across the industry.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Troubleshoot compressor performance issues by analyzing logs, system data, and field conditions to drive fast, accurate root‑cause resolution.
- Support OEMs and contractors remotely or on‑site—providing expert guidance for complex, unusual, or site‑specific challenges.
- Assess warranty claims and investigate failures so customers receive clear, data‑driven decisions and timely follow‑up.
- Deliver technical training that strengthens customer capability and improves system performance across the HVAC ecosystem.
- Create and maintain service manuals, bulletins, and other documentation that help customers use and service our technology with confidence.
What We're Looking For
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant Certification
- 8-10 years of commercial HVAC experience in servicing, commissioning and maintaining chiller sets in central plant air conditioning systems
- Strong understanding and knowledge of vapor compression cycle and principles and the use of centrifugal compressors within chiller systems
- Fundamental knowledge of Modbus control system and applications using Modbus control
- Ability to read and work with simple electrical schematic wiring diagrams
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Strong skills in MS Office such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel
