Danfoss Power Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to join our System Development Tools team, building a global development partner hub in Pune. You will work on our core software platforms:
- PLUS+1® GUIDE – A graphical development environment for rapid configuration of electrohydraulic control systems via drag‑and‑drop blocks, C/PLCOpen integration, and safety-certified tooling.
- PLUS+1® Service Tool – Sophisticated tool for flashing hardware, parameter tuning, diagnostics, log data capture, and building custom service interfaces.
- You may also work with PLUS+1® Mobile Service Tool for wireless diagnostics and mobile-based tooling.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead testing efforts across PLUS+1® GUIDE and the PLUS+1® Service Tool, including desktop, diagnostics, and mobile workflows.
- Define and implement strategic test plans, ensuring functionality, safety, and quality.
- Mentor junior engineers, promote best practices, and elevate overall test framework quality.
- Collaborate globally to maintain CI/CD pipelines for tool releases and updates.
What We're Looking For
Core Technologies & Programming:
- Advanced scripting for TestComplete/Selenium automation (JavaScript, Java, Python, C#).
- Strong OOP understanding to improve test framework flexibility.
Automation & Testing Frameworks:
- Deep experience in TestComplete (all framework styles) and Selenium Desktop/Web automation.
- (Preferred) API testing using Postman or Rest Assured.
Test Management & CI/CD Tools:
- Strong working knowledge of Azure DevOps (test case management, pipelines).
Other Essential Skills:
- Ability to test desktop GUI tools (like GUIDE) and engineering diagnostics tools (Service Tool).
- Ability to design robust test strategies for complex, safety‑critical applications.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering or Computer Science.
- 5+ years in software test engineering with automation experience.
- Experience with Windows-based automation like TestComplete/Selenium.
- Familiarity with control/diagnostics environments or mobile testing plus hydraulics domain knowledge is a bonus.
- Excellent English communication and experience in global team collaboration.
