The Impact You'll Make
The role will take charge of certain category/supplier responsibility. He/she is responsible for developing and executing long-term sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating and driving cost reduction. To secure the supply chain availability, continuously drive supplier quality improvement, and support new product development and product sustaining improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supplier Management
• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with company business objectives.
• Manage end-to-end supplier relationship, including performance review, drive cross-functional collaboration to improve supplier cost/delivery/quality KPIs to ensure supply chain stability & mitigate risks.
• Prepare regular reports on category performance, cost savings, supplier KPIs, and procurement activities.
• Conduct market research, new supplier scouting and live benchmarking w. active supplier panel to identify qualified suppliers and optimize supply base.
Cost Reduction Execution
• Lead negotiation of pricing, payment terms, contracts, and supply level agreements to achieve cost savings and value creation.
• Optimize cost structure, drive cost-down initiatives via negotiation, resourcing, technical, process levers (ITT pipeline management: idea generation, execution, saving report).
• Keep raw material market insight, commodity price fluctuations, cost management and should-cost analysis.
Project Support (NPD/NVC/Cost down)
• Support new projects on RFQs, supplier selection, product development and delivery, and cost negotiation.
• Support projects managing, implementing procurement activities and output deliverables according to project milestone requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in supply chain management, mechanical or related background, with 6-10 year's related working experience in manufacturing, industrial, or high-tech industry.
- English as working language for both writing and speaking.
- Good category management and sourcing project management.
- Strong commercial negotiation and influencing skills.
- Has a high personal drive, result oriented mindset and proactive approach.
- Problem solving and risk management.
