The Impact You'll Make

 

R&D plays a central role in developing the next generation of industrial sensors by combining mechanical design, electronics, and system integration. We work across disciplines to bring robust and innovative products to the market. 

As a Student Worker in R&D department within Danfoss Sensing Solutions, you will work close to ongoing development projects and support engineers in their daily work.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into how development projects are managed in a global organisation and how technical development translates into real products. You will contribute from the Danfoss HQ in Nordborg, with a flexible 10-20 hours per week. We aim to accommodate, so it is easy to balance work with your studies.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Assisting in maintaining and organising technical data.

  • Support engineers with daily tasks such as designing and ordering 3D printed parts.

  • Assist with general R&D tasks to ensure efficient daily operations by integrating AI.

  • Support with ad-hoc tasks in collaboration with other teams.

What We're Looking For

 

  • You are a Bachelor (2nd year or above) or Master’s student, ideally in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or other related technical fields.

  • Familiarity with relevant engineering software, such as CAD and simulation tools.

  • Proficiency with IT tools, such as Microsoft Office to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.

  • You are curious, proactive, outgoing and detail-oriented, with a motivation to learn how complex products are developed.

  • You communicate confidently in English, both written and spoken.
