As a Student Worker in the Gas Laboratory, you will actively support ongoing sensor test activities, assist with quality assurance and calibration workflows, and help improve laboratory processes. Your work will involve close collaboration with engineers and specialists from across the organisation.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in sensor testing, laboratory quality systems, and data acquisition. Based at Danfoss HQ in Nordborg, your flexible working hours (10–20 per week) are designed to easily fit alongside your studies.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assist in preparing and executing environmental sensor tests, ensuring safety and sustainability protocols are followed.

  • Operate LabVIEW and Python-based data acquisition tools responsibly.

  • Support laboratory quality processes, including updating SOPs, calibration routines, and safety documentation.

  • Assist with continuous improvement efforts for test quality, lab capacity, and resource usage.

  • Support with ad-hoc tasks in collaboration with other teams.

What We're Looking For

  • You are a Bachelor student (2nd year or above) or a Master’s student in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related technical fields.

  • Familiarity with relevant engineering software, such as CAD and simulation tools, and familiarity with programming tools (Python, LabVIEW, or similar) is an advantage but not required.

  • Interest or basic experience in laboratory work, sensor technology, or measurement systems.

  • Comfortable working with technical data, structured documentation, and quality procedures.

  • Proactive and curious problem-solver with strong English communication skills, able to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams.

What You'll Get from Us

  • We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
  • You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us
  • We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected and valued for who they are.
  • You’ll receive benefits like annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re great.
