At Danfoss, great decisions start with great data. As our new Student Worker in Production Engineering, you will play a hands-on role in building the documentation and data foundation that drives smarter, faster decisions across our production environment. Your work will be visible on the production floor. You will be primarily based at our Kolding site, with visits to Christiansfeld approximately once a month.

You will help uncover where processes can be stabilized, improved, and made more transparent. Whether it is through a well-structured analysis or a small improvement initiative you take ownership of, the work you do here creates real operational value and you will see the results directly.

This is a role for someone who is curious, self-driven, and ready to work where engineering meets data. You will move between your desk and the production floor, collaborating with operators, engineers, and supervisors who are genuinely invested in making things better.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Strengthen production documentation by creating, maintaining, and improving process records that give the whole team a clearer picture of how work gets done. 

• Turn data into decisions by analysing production output and preparing insights that support continuous improvement across the organization. 

• Dig into production challenges alongside engineers and operators to identify root causes and flag where process stabilization is needed. 

• Drive small improvement initiatives end-to-end — from identifying the opportunity based on data, to proposing and testing your own solutions. 

• Support the production engineering team with a varied mix of tasks, giving you broad exposure to engineering operations in a real industrial environment.

What We're Looking For

• Strong Excel skills and a solid foundation for working with and interpreting data. 

• A curious, problem-solving mindset — you ask questions, explore issues, and aren't afraid to form your own view. 

• The ability to work autonomously and take ownership, managing your time independently while knowing when to collaborate. 

• Good written and spoken English; Danish is a plus in our day-to-day team environment. 

• Currently enrolled in a relevant engineering, data, or technical degree programme.
