We’re looking for a curious and motivated Computer Science student who enjoys building software and wants to understand how real-world systems are designed, scaled, and evolved over time. If you like thinking in systems, exploring APIs, and experimenting with AI in meaningful ways, you’ll fit right in. 

You’ll join a team of engineers who care about building software that is robust, scalable, and actually used in production.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Build and improve backend services and APIs that support scalable solutions across the system, ensuring reliability and performance in production environments

  • Work with cloud-native, distributed systems designed for growth, learning how modern architectures handle real-world complexity and high availability

  • Design data flows through the platform to enable meaningful insights and better decision-making for food retail operations

  • Explore and prototype AI and LLM-based features that enhance automation and user experience, bringing intelligent capabilities to life

  • Collaborate closely with engineers and product teams to design and implement end-to-end features, gaining exposure to the full software development lifecycle

  • Learn how modern software systems are architected, deployed, and scaled in real production environments with mentorship from experienced engineers

What We're Looking For

 

  • Currently studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with hands-on programming experience in Python, Go, Node.js. 

  • Developing understanding of software architecture and distributed systems, with bonus points for experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, or Kubernetes

  • Genuine interest in Artificial Intelligence, including LLMs and intelligent automation—experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, or messaging systems is a plus 

  • Analytical, proactive, and eager to solve complex technical problems, — you're excited to learn, even if you don't have everything figured out yet

  • Familiarity with databases and data-intensive systems is valued, as are open source contributions or personal projects involving backend systems or AI
