The Impact You'll Make
We are seeking a Student Worker to join our Food Industry and Retail Solutions team in Nordborg, within Solutions & Technology. You will become part of a diverse group, collaborating closely across various functions who provide support to both customers and sales teams with application knowledge and technical expertise.
The Food Solutions and Retail team is dedicated to decarbonisation and retail solutions, including industrial heat pumps, refrigeration chillers, air-conditioning, and related applications utilising Danfoss products from various product lines. The team supports end users, product lines, and shared sales functions.
Promoting the use of natural refrigerants in cooling systems and heat pumps is a significant aspect of our contribution to the decarbonisation journey. Danfoss has established a training unit with a fully operational CO2 system housed in a sea container—the so-called Mobile Training Unit (MTU)—which can be transported globally to deliver hands-on training to interested customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
-
Coordinating the deployment of our CO2 Mobile Training Unit — planning where and when it travels, and making sure everything is in place before it arrives.
-
Communicating with freight forwarders to arrange international shipping of the training unit, providing the technical and logistical information they need.
-
Collaborating with local Danfoss colleagues at each deployment location to prepare the site and support the delivery of training sessions.
-
Support in marketing information collection to support business case creation in decarbonisation projects.
-
Working across functions and geographies, giving you first-hand experience in how a global company coordinates complex, real-world operations.
What We're Looking For
-
Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master’s degree in energy, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field — but if the role excites you and you bring relevant interest, we'd love to hear from you regardless of your specific degree.
-
Comfortable communicating in English, both written and spoken — you'll be working with people across countries and functions.
-
Proficiency with IT tools, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
-
Organized and reliable — you can keep track of multiple moving parts and follow through on tasks independently.
-
A good communicator who enjoys working with different people and isn't afraid to pick up the phone or send that follow-up email.
What You'll Get from Us
-
We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
-
You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
-
We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected and valued for who they are.
-
You’ll receive benefits like annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re great.
