We are looking for a student to join our Group Sustainability team. We offer a flexible and international working environment with an innovative, diverse, and inclusive culture. You will work together with colleagues on prioritized sustainability topics and projects related to decarbonization, circularity, value chain due diligence, external ratings, reporting and compliance.
Location: Nordborg or Copenhagen
What You’ll Be Doing
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Benchmark, data collection and analysis for priority sustainability topics at Danfoss.
- Prepare agenda and practicalities for sustainability working groups
- Support implementation of sustainability and ESG projects and initiatives across Danfoss
- Sustainability & ESG communication support (Presentations, Danfoss.com, internal communications, training, etc.)
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this student position, you have a strong interest in sustainability and ESG and are motivated to apply your discipline to these topics. We believe that strong sustainability outcomes are created through interdisciplinary collaboration.
To be considered for the role we expect:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in a sustainability-specific program - we welcome students with backgrounds in e.g. Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or similar disciplines.
- You are academically curious, a quick learner and with passion for Sustainability and ESG
- Basic knowledge on corporate sustainability
- Knowledge on sustainability frameworks and ratings is a strong plus (GHG Protocol, SBT, CDP, Ecovadis, etc.)
- You are a team player and interested in working with many different people in an international environment
- You are results-oriented, motivated and a self-starter with the ability to independently drive assigned work activities forward, while keeping attention to deadlines and quality of details
- Strong IT-skills (ability to use Microsoft Office tools is a must; knowledge on LCA tools is a plus)
- Fluency in professional English is required
This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week, with an immediate start preferred.
