As our Summer Trainee Embedded Software and motor control engineering, you’ll play a key role in building electrical motor drives solutions into high performance industrial applications.
Your impact? You will bring your expertize within either electrical motor / grid control area or within embedded software domain, focusing e.g. in communication protocols or cybersecurity solutions.
You’ll collaborate with and be a part of our product development team and take ownership of the development tasks given to you, helping us move toward a more innovative future.

Position is located in Helsinki, Tampere or Vaasa, Finland.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Participate in developing and testing of high performance motor and grid control algorithms and simulation models
- Run and analyze control related tests in different virtual setups, including simulation models and emulator environments
or
- Participate in the embedded software development and testing activities
- Help us improving our automated software test assets
What We're Looking For
- M.Sc or B.Sc student with strong knowledge of motor and/or grid control theory
- Experience in working with modern simulation tools for control systems
or
- M.Sc or B.Sc student focusing on embedded software development
- Knowledge of communication protocols, software testing and/or cybersecurity of embedded systems
- High collaboration skills and a problem-solving mindset
