As our Summer Trainee in Business Excellence in Danfoss Industrial Drives & Power Conversion division (IDPC), you’ll play a key role helping our business efficiently deliver products to our customers that help them with electrifying their solutions – whether that is in energy storage, heavy industries or marine.
Your impact? You help our businesses grow –Driving improvements across product portfolio management, supply chain, manufacturing, and commercial processes. Our role in Business Excellence is to support the end-to-end success of our division.
You’ll work in a small and dedicated team but will engage with different stakeholders throughout the division and take ownership of creating value with data and data analytics and managing small projects of strategic importance, helping us move toward a more efficient and electrified future.

Position is located in Vaasa or Helsinki.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Create value from data – Translate raw data (e.g., Orders, order intake, or financial data) into valuable reports and insights for our stakeholders on different levels.
- Data analytics – Discover patterns, trends, and issues.
- Execute small projects – support or manage for example continuous improvement initiatives.
- Storytelling – Translate information and insights into compelling presentations and visualizations.
- Continuously learn and share knowledge to enhance how we run our business.
What We're Looking For
- You are great at understanding complex subjects, can break problems down into smaller pieces and apply a solving problem-solving approach.
- You have strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, SAP, or eagerness to learn.
- Completed B.Sc. studies in Engineering, Business, Industrial or Supply chain management and enrolled in a master’s studies in those or similar directions.
- Possess effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken and ability to communicate with stakeholders across functions and leadership levels
- As a project lead, you excel in collaboration, stakeholder management and maintain an end-to-end overview of the project.
