As our Plant Controller Summer Trainee, you’ll play a key role in supporting the plant by e.g. ensuring timely costing runs, following up on investment projects and supporting in monthly closing.
Your impact? This is a special year at our plant with major projects ongoing. You will support the team in a wide range of finance-related tasks and help ensure we have timely and reliable financial data, follow-up, and cost transparency to steer the business through the changes.
You’ll collaborate with Lappeenranta plant team locally and Editron division colleagues globally. You will take ownership of daily costing tasks, support in CAPEX project cost follow-up and forecasting.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Run daily costing tasks in SAP and Teamcenter
- Collaborate with local CAPEX project managers to support investment follow-up and cost transparency
- Support in monthly closing controlling tasks
- Other ad-hoc tasks related to plant controlling
What We're Looking For
- Currently studying Finance, Accounting, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field
- Good communication skills in English and ability to collaborate with stakeholders across functions.
- Structured and proactive way of working; comfortable with recurring deadlines (daily tasks and month-end)
- Basic understanding of cost accounting/controlling (cost structure, variances, budgeting/forecasting)
- Prior relevant work experience, Finnish language skills, Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups) and experience in SAP are considered as assets, but not mandatory
This position is located in Lappeenranta, Finland.

This is a temporary position for approx. 3 months period, starting preferably from 25th May or 1st June 2026. Salary range for our Summer Trainees is €2200 - €2900 per month based on the level of studies and study points.
