Then you might be the Supervisor we are looking for to join our motor assembly area in Nordborg at Danfoss Power Solutions. In this role, you will lead a team of 25 dedicated operators across three shifts, holding both daily personnel and operational responsibility. Together, you will work every day to ensure a safe working environment, high quality, and stable deliveries—while continuously finding new ways to improve production.


You will be part of the motor team in the Orbital & Gear Solutions business unit, where we develop and manufacture hydraulic motors and steering units for customers worldwide.

What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Plan and coordinate staffing and tasks according to the production schedule and capacity, including hosting daily shop-floor meetings and Factory Board meetings
  • Follow up on KPIs within SQDC and ensure progress in improvement activities
  • Drive LEAN initiatives and strengthen a solid 5S culture within the department
  • Develop employees through training plans, performance dialogues, and ongoing feedback
  • Manage budgets and ensure a safe, high‑quality working environment

What We're Looking For

 

  • Leadership experience from a production environment—preferably within assembly or testing—and the ability to thrive close to operations while developing people and processes
  • A strong team mindset, where you stand up for your colleagues and are loyal to the team and company values
  • A structured approach to improvements and experience with LEAN
  • Enjoyment of working in a team‑oriented environment and actively contributing to collaboration
  • A positive, professional, and persistent approach to tasks and people
  • The ability to communicate in both Danish and English, verbally and in writing
