As our Supplier Quality Admin Intern, you’ll play a key role in strengthening supplier quality performance by transforming data into insights that support smarter decisions across our supply chain.
Your impact? You’ll help improve supplier reliability, increase first-time-right PPAP outcomes, and reduce quality issues by providing clear, data-driven visibility into supplier performance. Your work will directly support engineers, quality teams, and internal stakeholders who rely on accurate insights to drive continuous improvement.
You’ll collaborate closely with Supplier Quality Engineers and cross-functional partners while taking ownership of data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development—helping us move toward a more efficient, consistent, and data-driven quality organization.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collect, structure, and maintain datasets from multiple supply chain sources, including ERP systems, planning tools, and supplier reports
- Analyze and transform data using Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas) and/or Python to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards that track supplier quality performance and key metrics
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing failures, improving PPAP effectiveness, and increasing internal customer satisfaction
- Document processes, findings, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and consistency across the team
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics
- Working knowledge of GD&T and foundational quality assurance tools
- Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and translate findings into clear, actionable insights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings effectively to diverse stakeholders
- A curious, detail-oriented mindset with a strong interest in learning, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
