As our Supplier Quality Engineer in Brazil, you’ll play a key role in managing and driving the supplier claim handling process to ensure quality excellence across our supply base. You will lead containment actions, identify system-level root causes, implement effective long-term corrective measures, and ensure lessons learned are applied across other parts and processes.

You’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, taking ownership of change management, PPAP documentation updates, casting process audits, and supplier readiness, helping us move toward a more innovative and efficient future.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Ensure supplier quality and performance data is accurate and available for all suppliers in your category.
- Resolve corrective action requests to system-level completion, applying robust root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with suppliers to implement long-term corrective actions and ensure change control compliance.
- Update PPAP documentation (PFMEA, control plans, etc.) to reflect current processes and improvements.
- Audit suppliers to ensure alignment with IATF, ISO, and Danfoss requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in supplier quality engineering with a focus on castings/foundry processes.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 auditing, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, manufacturing processes, and containment levels (CSL1 & CSL2).
- Six-Sigma Greenbelt a plus.
- Castings experience and background a plus.
