The supplier quality engineer is responsible for managing the quality performance of suppliers and supporting the final product to meet all quality standards and customer requirements through continuous improvement. Urge suppliers to improve quality issues, prevent similar quality problems from occurring, and prevent losses to the company due to supplier quality issues. Responsible for suppliers DPPM, FYP, PPAP, etc.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading supplier advanced project development using APQP. Ensuring quality deliverables in each phase. PPAP worksheet creation, on-site PPAP run-off, and follow-up on identified gaps.
- Daily management of supplier quality issues, including root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and follow-up to ensure issues are resolved.
- Perform supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and manage Supplier DPPM metrics, working with suppliers to reduce defects and improve quality performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve delivery performance.
- Implement the five AIAG manuals, coach and review the quality issues of supplier and urge the improvement, and achieve the quality management system to meet the requirements of IATF16949 and DBS standards.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in quality, with 3+ years of SQE experience.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and regulatory requirements.
- Familiar with mechanical drawings, various dimensions and geometric tolerances; proficient in the use of common measuring instruments and tools.
- Familiar with machining processes such as turning, milling, and drilling, forming processes such as casting, forging, hot rolling, and cold heading, and surface treatment processes such as plating, passivation, and anodizing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex quality issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Experience in supporting audits and maintaining documentation for quality compliance.
