The Impact You'll Make
As a Sustainability Expert, you will be responsible for improving internal data quality, scaling up Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) processes, and supporting the automation of our internal sustainability processes related to decarbonization and circularity. Your work will directly contribute to meeting customer demands, regulatory compliance, and maintaining Danfoss’ position in the industry.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve as super-user of LCA for Experts (Sphera) software and drive process development for data collection, mapping and product analysis
- Lead and scale LCA and EPD efforts across product lines
- Develop methods for assessing the environmental impact of our Circularity initiatives (e.g. product take-back for refurbishment)
- Assist your colleagues in product development in their efforts to design more sustainable and circular products
- Apply AI and automation tools to streamline data handling
- Coordinate selected sustainability projects within Danfoss Drives’ ESG framework
- Participate in the responsibility for coordinating efforts around selected sustainability projects within the frame of Danfoss Drives ESG ambition
- Contribute to the training of your colleagues within sustainability subjects
What We're Looking For
- You have a relevant, professional, and educational background and experience within sustainability and LCA.
- You have a basic insight into manufacturing, engineering, and/or product development.
- You are enthusiastic about and interested in driving the sustainability agenda here under social and environmental impact issues and climate change.
- You are well known for the market and regulatory trends within sustainability, and you have a broad professional network.
- Experience with AI tools and automation in data processing is a plus.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- You are strong in IT, quick to use new tools and to train others.
- You have excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, leveraging advanced features to analyze data
