As our new System & Control Engineer based in Nordborg, you’ll help shape the next generation of intelligent electric and electrohydraulic steering systems used in off‑highway machinery around the world.
Your work will directly influence machine safety, performance, and operator experience in demanding real‑world environments.
By translating customer needs into robust control solutions, you’ll turn complex requirements into reliable systems that meet strict functional safety standards. Your contribution will support Danfoss’ ambition to deliver smarter, more sustainable solutions for mobile equipment.
Working in a global, cross‑functional R&D environment, you’ll see your ideas move from concept to validated product and into the hands of customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Translate customer and application needs into system concepts, architectures, and safety‑ready control solutions
- Design and develop model‑based control functions using MATLAB/Simulink to optimize steering performance
- Integrate and validate systems through testing in labs and with partners, ensuring reliability and safety
- Support customers with troubleshooting and application design, improving system performance in the field
- Drive proof‑of‑concept development for new electric and electrohydraulic steering technologies
What We're Looking For
- A background in electronics, software, mechatronics, or control engineering
- Practical understanding of control engineering principles, from theory to application
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and model‑based system design
- Ability to work with system requirements and functional safety concepts in complex products
- Great English communication skills, written and spoken
