The Impact You'll Make

 The System Design Engineer position at Danfoss in Apodaca, Mexico will play a critical role in driving product innovation and operational efficiency. By working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and engaging with diverse processes and tasks, this role will directly influence the successful development and evolution of products. 

What You’ll Be Doing

• Product development activities to develop and industrialize Condensing Units & thermodynamic systems from concept to production launch (innovative solutions i.e. Solar & Thermal Storage, heat recovery, Natural refrigerants (CO2 and R290) and ultra low GWP refrigerants, Smart grid w electronic controller and system manager, IoT…)
• Thermodynamic and structural simulations.
• Conduct and Execute Functional analysis, Project requirement specifications, DFMEA, Design Qualification plan, and present design reviews to multiple stake holders according to Danfoss product development plan.
• Lead and support for the component selection (Refrigeration/Electronics)/finalization within Danfoss and outside Danfoss along with procurement department.
• Coordinate with contract manufacturing team for Design freeze, Product data management, prototype builds, Reliability tests in accordance with Danfoss internal standards globally.
• Lead and support product certification activities according to relevant international standards (UL, NrCAN, DOE, CE, PED, etc)
• Coordinate & support Performance/Application development tests according to standard and customer specifications within Danfoss lab & Third party lab.
