We are seeking a Test Lab Technician who will specialize in the execution of hydraulic product tests for our engineering groups and be a key contributor to the validation efforts for both new and current products.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Execute engineering test requests, including setup and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems.
- Collect test data using a variety of sensors and data acquisition equipment.
- Interpret and document test results.
- Contribute to test lab continuous improvement projects.
- Champion safety within the test lab by proactively identifying and correcting potential hazards.
- Perform maintenance on test lab equipment.
- Provide recommendations for improvements to test procedures and lab processes.
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- Associate degree in Fluid Power Technology or other technical discipline.
- Functional understanding of hydrostatic pumps, motors, and transmissions.
- Basic understanding of instrumentation and data acquisition.
- Basic ability to troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
- Ability to interpret engineering specifications, drawings, hydraulic schematics, and electronic schematics.
- Basic application knowledge of hydraulic systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to utilize common shop tools.
Preferred Experience
- 1+ years of experience, testing hydraulic systems.
- IFPS fluid power certifications.
- Prior experience with Dewesoft data acquisition.
- Prior experience with Siemens PLCs.
- Knowledge of Danfoss hydraulic pumps, motors, and transmissions.

- Interpersonal soft skills and effective communication with both colleagues and customers.
- General computer literacy and knowledge of common programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
