As our Trade Compliance Data & Systems Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our global trade operations are compliant, efficient, and driven by accurate, insightful data. Your expertise in trade compliance systems and analytics will help safeguard Danfoss against regulatory risks while enabling seamless import and export processes across our global supply chains.

You’ll collaborate with supply chain, logistics, legal, and IT teams, taking ownership of trade compliance tools, reporting, and process improvements—helping us move toward a more efficient, compliant, and technology-driven future.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Subject matter expert of global trade compliance systems such as Global Trade Systems (GTS) and other local and third-party trade compliance programs (e.g., OneSource, Vastera, Millenium).
  • Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, including customs laws, export controls, sanctions, and embargoes.
  • Develop and maintain trade compliance dashboards and reporting tools to provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve compliance processes through technology and automation.
  • Support internal and external audits, inquiries, and the implementation of new trade compliance tools.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Experience in data analysis, trade compliance, or customs within manufacturing or global supply chains.
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, HS classification, origin rules, and export control regimes (e.g., EAR, ITAR, EU Dual-Use).
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and trade compliance software tools.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a complex global environment.
