The Impact You'll Make
As our Utility Repair Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our oil-free compressor production running smoothly by troubleshooting test failures, completing repairs, and helping prevent repeat issues.
Your impact? More compressors pass testing the first time (higher First Pass Yield), customer-returned and refurbished units are restored to production readiness, and quality outcomes improve through strong root-cause problem solving.
You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Production leadership, and Quality partners and take ownership of repair, testing support, and flexible production tasks, helping us move toward a more efficient and reliable manufacturing operation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Troubleshoot rejected compressors, determine root cause of test failures, and complete necessary repairs
- Partner with engineers, supervisors, and managers to develop countermeasures that prevent repeat failures and improve First Pass Yield (FPY)
- Process refurbished units (RF) and customer returned units (CFM) and prepare them to be run on the production line
- Support production and lab testing activities, including validation testing on VTT units in the R&D Lab and quarterly burst testing
- Flex across assembly and production operations as needed, using tools and equipment such as presses and air tools, while maintaining a clean and safe work area and following quality procedures
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED (minimum requirement)
- 1 to 3 years of related experience and/or training in a manufacturing, assembly, repair, or mechanical troubleshooting environment
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment or product issues, identify root cause, and complete repairs with attention to detail
- Comfort working across different tasks (assembly, testing support, material handling) and using common production tools and equipment
- Ability to earn EPA 608 certification within the first 30 days of being awarded the position
What You'll Get from Us
- We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
- You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
- We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected, and valued for who they are.
- You’ll receive benefits like 13th salary, annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re pretty great.
