You’ll join the Product Engineering Center (PEC) testing team in Vaasa Finland, working in world-class laboratories where ideas are transformed into verified, real-world solutions. What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Plan verification activities by estimating workload, preparing test setups and specifications.
  • Order and track drives and testing materials, ensuring all required components are available on time for scheduled activities.
  • Build and maintain laboratory test set-ups, cabinets, and measurement setups for real hardware.
  • Prepare drives for testing by installing software, configuring load systems, and performing hands-on tasks such as soldering, sensor attachment and the actual testing using tools like oscilloscopes, data loggers, and power analyzers.
  • Report and analyze results with development teams and contribute to continuous improvement within an agile hardware Scrum team.

What We're Looking For

 

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics from a university or university of applied sciences
  • Understanding of electrical safety and confidence working in laboratory environments
  • Good technical knowledge of frequency converters
  • Experience with electrical testing and verification activities
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and circuit layouts.
  • Good command of English and at least basic Finnish
  • Willingness to take ownership and responsibility.
  • A proactive, hands-on mindset with curiosity to learn new methods and tools.
