We are excited to invite a skilled and dedicated Hose Technician to join our team at our Technology Center based in Clayton.
As a Hose Technician, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling hose assemblies to meet customer specifications, contributing directly to the success of our Danfoss Power Solutions segment and our valued customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assembling hoses from components with precision and care.
- Crimping end connections using hydraulic machines to ensure secure and reliable fittings.
- Conducting pressure testing of flexible hose assemblies to guarantee quality and safety.
- Identifying, measuring, and cutting hoses accurately using a variety of workshop tools and equipment.
- Utilising various hand and power tools associated with hose assembly work.
- Managing stock, participating in inventory counts, and preparing hose kits for production.
- Packaging and organising hose orders for dispatch to our customers.
- Maintaining accurate job records, documentation, and reporting to ensure seamless workflow and quality control.
What We're Looking For
- Relevant trade qualifications or proven experience as a Hose Technician or Hydraulic Fitter.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- The ability to work independently, taking ownership of your tasks and responsibilities.
- An understanding of hydraulic systems and components.
- Physically fit to perform manual handling including lifting items over 25kg, reaching, twisting, and pushing trolleys
- Valid Forklift license
