This position provides direction and leadership for site manufacturing activities to achieve safety, cost, quality and delivery goals. Manages available resources and leads associates to perform all departmental tasks in the most cost-effective manner while ensuring a quality product is processed according to schedule.

What You’ll Be Doing

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 
•    Utilizing Capacity/Load targets, to develop and execute daily/weekly staffing plans 
•    Daily Management of Escalation and problem solving, including support resources 
•    Driving plant kpi’s through accountability of both self and their team
•    Execute performance management process within Guidelines of HR
•    Drives a culture of Quality/Continuous Improvement

What We're Looking For

Required (basic) qualifications
•    3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or operations 
•    1-3 years of experience in supervisory or similar leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
•    Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft office, MRP systems, etc.)

 

Preferred qualifications
•  Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

 

Job Criteria
•    Develops plans to address skill gaps within the workforce
•    Clearly owns and delivers messages, “connecting the dots” for associates
•    Demonstrates engagement and relationship building skills
•    Utilizes Kaizen events, and lean activities to drive operational improvements
•    Coordinates with other departments to support business objectives
