As our Consultant – Security Operations Center, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding Danfoss’s digital transformation by delivering cutting-edge information security solutions and proactive threat management.Your impact? You’ll strengthen our security posture by detecting, investigating, and mitigating cyber threats, ensuring business continuity and protecting critical assets. You will collaborate across IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to build a resilient and automated security environment that supports Danfoss’s growth with confidence.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead investigations into cybersecurity incidents, assessing scale, impact, and severity, and coordinating containment and mitigation.
- Develop and maintain security detection use cases, operational playbooks, and train Tier 1 SOC consultants on new tools and methodologies.
- Conduct vulnerability discovery, assessment, and coordinate remediation efforts across the organisation.
- Perform threat hunting, health checks, and enrich incident response with threat intelligence.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align and implement security controls, ensuring compliance with standards and preventing incidents.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related field.
- 2–5 years of IT experience, including infrastructure, applications development, or support; prior SOC or incident response experience preferred.
- 1+ year working with Microsoft security tools (Defender ATP, Cloud App Security, Office ATP, Azure AD Identity Protection, Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel) or SPLUNK.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes, ISO27002 standards, and incident response protocols.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English, with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
