Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic individual to spearhead our growth within the global Water market. As a key player, you will develop and execute market strategies, build strong relationships, and drive collaboration across Danfoss to expand our presence and market share. This role requires a deep understanding of the Water industry, a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, and the ability to influence and enable sales teams to achieve ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Strategy & Analysis: Develop and implement a comprehensive global market strategy for the Water market, including market analysis and trends, target segments and relevant value proposition, competitive positioning, and go-to-market approaches.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with major Water players, system integrators, and key stakeholders globally. Actively seek out new partnerships and collaborations.
- Sales Enablement & Support: Provide strategic direction, sales enablement (training, materials, market intelligence), and performance support to dedicated Water sales teams within regional sales organizations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, sales, marketing, and engineering across Danfoss segments to identify joint opportunities, develop shared value propositions, and leverage synergies.
- Industry Expertise & Promotion: Maintain a deep understanding of the Water industry, including emerging technologies and market trends. Promote Danfoss's solutions and build brand awareness through industry events and key associations.
- Water Development: Drive vertical focus in selected markets, closely enabling and supporting the Water Vertical in Sales.
- Growth Planning & Investment: Support growth planning and investment decisions through market/customer opportunity assessments and business case development.
- Sales Channel Support: Support vertical sales channels and collaborate with Sales Leads and Cluster Managers to determine the best ways to reach customers in target markets.
- Pipeline & Pricing: Support sales in securing a healthy pipeline, portfolio, and price levels, validating forecasts and growth planning in the key markets.
Background & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and background in drives and/or waters business is preferred.
- Proven track record of driving sales performance through persuasive communication and collaborative strategies in a matrix organization.
- Customer/commercial leadership experience and ability to facilitate customers interactions with credibility, confidence and Think Danfoss mentality.
- Proven track record of developing and executing sales & strategy plans.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
- Travel mobility (up to 50% of time) at the regional/global level.
- Have a high degree of integrity, acting according to the company’s Ethical guidelines and business ethics.
