Job Description

Danfoss Group IT is looking for a Lead backend developer, who also has experience within the area of containerization and infrastructure as code, that can help us build great web products. 

 

You will be a part of the international Digital Customer Experience team with more than 100 colleagues from all over the world, where we develop, support and lead the digital customer experience in Danfoss. We connect business needs and IT into digital solutions.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Development of new web applications, APIs
  • Supporting already existing web products and APIs
  • Making sure Danfoss web products offer great performance
  • Outlining ideas, tools and practises for improving the development process in areas like; Automation, security, pipelines, and audits
  • Diagnosing problems, inefficiencies, and weaknesses and working to improve them
  • Help secure and improve our infrastructure as code setup, thinking automation, security, stability, and performance
  • Writing great code together with the rest of the team – we emphasise collaboration via coding together, code review, and documentation

 

Exciting projects you will also be working on:

  • Cooperating with your team members on transition towards Composable Architecture enabling DCE to become a professional supplier of digital services towards internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Co-working with your team members on a project based on recent large company acquisition which is setting new standards within the company (API first approach, composable architecture)

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills. 

  • In-depth knowledge of modern Typescript, .NET Core, C#
  • In depth knowledge of .NET Framework/Core and writing testable, maintainable code in C#
  • Experience with testing and test automation (unit, integration, e2e)
  • OpenAPI, REST, and GraphQL
  • Experience with Azure Cloud, DevOps and CI / CD pipelines
  • Azure DevOps, NodeJS, Kubernetes, Containerization, SQL and NoSQL databases, CSS
  • Automated deployments (to PaaS infrastructure and IaaS) 
  • 5+ years of experience with similar work
