Who we are:

We might be a small team, but that does not make us less mighty. Reporting directly to the EVP, Head of HR, our team consists of: Andrea (1) - the director and head of the team, Andrea (2) - the project manager, and Jens Thomas – the consultant.

While Andrea (1) will be teaching you Italian phrases by the coffee machine, Andrea (2) will be planning her next traditional Chinese dinner, and Jens Thomas will be ready with the newest Netflix recommendations. Besides aiding the EVP of HR with the people strategy of Danfoss, we oversee the vast transformation that the HR organization is going through – this is where you come into the picture.

Who you might be

Well, we are looking for an experienced consultant who has been around the block either in a consulting firm or in an in-house position. You have strong experience with HR and know operating model design by heart.

 

Your concrete HR experience includes designing HR processes, understanding HR operating models and the functions within HR, knowing the topics of HR (talent management, compensation & benefits, talent acquisition, business partnering, etc.), and knowing how HR delivers value to the business.  

 

You thrive in highly complex environments and have strong analytical skills, while understanding how to communicate with your stakeholders and add value to their work.

 

You have experience in navigating a complex, global matrix organization and know how to influence without authority. You consider yourself a top performer: when you were at university, at your current job, or maybe even at the karaoke bar.

What you will (most likely) be doing

Your main task will be to drive workstreams in the HR Transformation program. This program touches all parts of the HR operating model and we deal with everything from HR processes, operating model,  organizational structure, to HR capabilities. In addition to this, we also support our EVP, Head of HR, and the HR Leadership Team with tasks that need solving. No big deal.

 

You will work on the People/HR strategy of Danfoss and help drive the organization forward in the years to come. You will also be helping our colleagues in the centres of excellence with their adaption of the strategy and special tasks, so you won’t just be stuck with us. Sometimes we also pick up ad-hoc work that can strategically support our business as well.

 

Your core tasks will therefore be:

 

HR Transformation
Drive workstreams in the transformation program
Run analysis and drive insights for the program
Advise and guide other workstream leaders and global HR process owners
Act as an internal advisor to HR colleagues and leadership


People Strategy/HR Strategy
Working with HR leadership, our team, corporate strategy and our stakeholders to define our upcoming people strategy
Aiding our Centre of Excellence heads on strategic tasks and planning
Guiding our matrix HR colleagues on the strategy
Supporting the EVP, Head of HR, and the HR Leadership Team


Practicalities
You must have 4+ years of experience from an international consulting house or an internal consulting role in a large, multinational organization
You have extensive experience with HR and hold knowledge in the general HR toolbox
You hold a relevant master’s degree
You will be based at our office in Copenhagen (Kultorvet) together with the rest of the HR Strategy & Transformation team
You consider yourself an expert in PowerPoint and Excel
