Job Location:  Copenhagen, DK, Kolding (Marsvej), DK, Nordborg, DK
Employment Type:  Full Time
Segment:  Danfoss Power Solutions Segment
Job Category:  Project Management
Work Location Type:  Hybrid
Job Experience Level:  Mid-Senior level
Job Title:  Program Manager, Incubation Data Center

The Impact You'll Make

As our Program Manager, Incubation Data Center (m/f/d), you will play a key role in driving innovation within the Data Center Business Unit at Danfoss Power Solutions, preferably based in Copenhagen, Denmark. You'll lead local and global cross-functional project teams from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, control and closure, ensuring successful delivery of the agreed business case. You'll take ownership of low- to medium-risk programs across new product development (NPD), product-related initiatives, large-scale new business onboarding and cost-out/value analysis and value engineering (VA/VE) projects.

Your impact will be measured by successful project delivery, transparent reporting to leadership and timely corrective action. You'll also help develop and continuously improve processes, guidelines and tools for new product development, bringing teams together and driving accountability in a matrix organization.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Plan and lead medium-complexity programs: build program management plans, cross-functionally informed work breakdown structures (WBS) and schedules; align priorities, staffing, requirements and a robust Statement of Work (SoW) before baseline; ensure the team understands contractual commitments and baseline change control.
  •  Drive disciplined execution and delivery: manage scope and scope changes, run regular team meetings, follow through on commitments and action items, and assess program health through earned-value measures (CPI/SPI), quality, technical performance, Focus 5 and delivery indicators. Identify and quantify risks and opportunities, implement mitigation plans and initiate corrective actions when needed.
  • Own the business case and customer outcomes: understand the strategic product roadmap and how the organization develops and launches products; validate customer needs and pain points with relevant stakeholders, account for product and development requirements, and ensure program scope and execution support successful Entry-Into-Service (EIS). Assess changes against business-case impact and guide team decisions accordingly.
  • Lead through collaboration and communication: build relationships with cross-functional leaders and key customers, communicate progress and issues promptly and transparently to internal and external leadership, and influence international or cross-divisional teams without relying on formal authority. Inspire accountability, recognize strengths and development needs, and mentor and coach team members.
  • Improve how change is delivered: develop and refine NPD processes and tools, apply organizational change-management principles, and coordinate communication, training, feedback and mitigation. Monitor change effectiveness, navigate cultural diversity and organizational dynamics, and adapt plans and resources to address obstacles.

What We're Looking For

  • Master’s degree in Business or a technical field (required).
  • At least five years of project management or engineering experience (required); Program Management Professional certification is preferred.
  • Strong command of project and program management methods and tools, with consistent follow-up, structured planning, performance monitoring, risk management and timely corrective action.
  • Ability to independently lead cross-divisional and international teams in a matrix environment, build strong networks, empower colleagues through delegation and create commitment through open, constructive dialogue.
  • Sound judgment in complex situations: anticipate and overcome roadblocks, evaluate alternative solutions, communicate appropriately across stakeholders and adapt effectively to organizational change and cultural differences.

What You'll Get from Us

  1. We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
  2. You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.

  4. You’ll receive benefits like annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re pretty great.
